Jane Geraghty has been appointed as the Chief Client Officer, WPP announced today. She will be in charge of managing WPP’s global client leaders and spearheading the company’s important client relationships from her New York base.

As the CEO of Landor & Fitch, WPP’s specialized brand and design consultant, Jane will continue to serve as Executive Chairman on the board. As Lindsay Pattison steps down to take on the role of Chief People Officer at WPP, she steps in.

Jane joined Landor & Fitch more than a decade ago, first as the head of Landor London and subsequently as President EMEA until her appointment as CEO at the end of 2017.

She has worked at prestigious advertising and marketing services firms on both sides of the Atlantic, such as Saatchi & Saatchi, McCann-Erickson, and Ogilvy New York, and brings with her nearly thirty years of experience in marketing, branding, and communications. Jane ran the Naked communications consultancy’s London office prior to joining Landor, and she has also held a position in broadcast as Director of Content Development at ITV.

Since taking over as CEO six years ago, she has led Landor through consistent development in London, EMEA, and now worldwide, growing the company by 50%. She has increased Landor’s offering by overseeing the procurement and integration of multiple agencies and bringing Landor and FITCH together with success.

Jane is a fervent supporter of employment equity. Together with Iceland’s prime minister, she will co-chair the Reykjavik Global Forum for Women Leaders this year. She was included in the 2023 HERoes Women Role Model Top 100 and serves as the executive sponsor of UNITE, the grassroots LGBTQ+ organization of WPP, in the UK.

In January 2024, she will take up the position of Chief Client Officer at WPP.
