Three, the UK’s fastest 5G network*, has today become the first women’s-only principal partner for Chelsea Women, including sponsorship of the team’s training kit. As Three continues its role as the Official Telecommunications Partner of Chelsea Football Club, its branding will now also be prominently featured on the training kit of the reigning Women’s Super League champions as they prepare for major tournaments, including the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the FA Cup, and the Women’s League Cup this season.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in the new era for Chelsea Women, coinciding with the recent appointment of head coach Sonia Bompastor. The collaboration represents a perfect progression in Three’s ongoing support and commitment to women’s football. Through the WeSeeYou Network, a national platform founded in partnership with Chelsea in 2022, Three recognizes and rewards women at the heart of the game, from players to coaches and beyond. The initiative encourages those passionate about football to connect, celebrate, and grow through unique experiences and mentorship opportunities that enhance their personal development.
The partnership announcement aligns with Chelsea’s recent unveiling of a long-term strategic plan to accelerate the growth of Chelsea Women. This repositioning includes dedicated resources, management, and commercial leadership focused solely on the women’s team’s success. This new approach aims to harness the full potential of women’s football, reflecting Three’s efforts to highlight and amplify women-led stories.
As a principal partner of Chelsea Women, Three’s logo will appear on all women’s players’ training kits, matchday warm-up shirts, and travel apparel for the upcoming season. Fans can purchase the equivalent range following the full retail rollout from the 2025/26 season. Additionally, Three offers exclusive deals on WSL match tickets, stadium tours, and merchandise through its Three+ loyalty app.
Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer for Chelsea Football Club, said, “We are thrilled to announce the renewal of our partnership with Three. Since we began working together in 2020, they have been steadfast supporters of the club and have created impactful campaigns like the Talk More Than Football mental health initiative.
After an incredible end to the 2023/24 season and a seventh WSL title, along with the redefined resources and team in place to help the squad grow on and off the pitch, it’s the perfect time to reimagine the positioning of the partnership with a greater focus on our hugely successful women’s team. Three has consistently delivered best-in-class initiatives in the women’s football community, and their new role as a principal partner of the team perfectly illustrates our joint passion for the game and ambition to be innovative.”
