The Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce is set to host its second annual Celebrating Women in Business seminar on June 13 in Maple Ridge, with award-winning entrepreneur Darci Lang as the guest speaker. Lang, who also spoke at the inaugural event last year, will share her strategies for achieving success and growth as an individual and business leader.
The event, which aims to promote female empowerment, will take place at the Albion Community Centre from 4 to 9 p.m. and will feature a catered dinner by Humble Roots and Vanilla Bean Bake Shop. Attendees will also receive a complimentary copy of Lang’s book on entrepreneurship.
The event aims at broadening the business perspective of women entrepreneurs with valuable insights from the experienced speakers. The news age challenges on customer relations, people management, entering new markets, collaborating with different businesses and resource mobilization and optimization, etc will be discussed. The award-winning businesswoman Darci Lang will motivate and strengthen the women entrepreneurs with her knowledge and leadership necessities.
The chamber received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback after the first event, prompting them to bring it back. The event is designed to bring together local businesspeople and provide a platform for women to share their experiences and learn from each other.
