From March 11 to 15, 2024, leaders from Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia gathered at the Peruvian Union University for the event.
A remarkable exhibition of global delegations took place in Peru’s capital city of Lima between March 11 and 15, 2024. The first “Women’s School of Evangelism” was created by the South American Division (SAD), the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s headquarters for eight South American countries. It brought together women who are in charge of unions and church administration in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru.

This historic occasion took place for the fifty South American Adventist leaders who participated in the programming planning process with great excitement and dedication at the Peruvian Union University (UPEU) in the John N. Andrews auditorium. Throughout their visit, the women took part in various events aimed at inspiring them and equipping them with evangelizing tools, such as report presentations, seminars, visits to Bible students, and testimony exchanges.

Based on current data, the majority of churchgoers are women, who are unquestionably a significant influence in gospel preaching.
As a result, the “Women’s School of Evangelism” offers a chance to integrate theory and practice by imparting information to thousands of Adventist women across the globe, starting with the leaders.
The idea is for women to deliberately dedicate themselves to evangelism. Ellen G. White once observed that the gospel would cease to be preached if there were twenty women instead of just one. This serves as a reminder of the unique worth and significance of women in the mission. The director of Women’s Ministry in South America, Jeanete Lima, stated, “We hope to incorporate more women.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in South America is setting up suitable facilities for its leaders’ training so they can reach more people with the message of hope, thanks to Women’s Ministry.
